Rick,

I love the pictures my man, it looks like you are taking down culture at the same rate you took down beer in college, which is an awesome thing. I cant tell you how happy I am to know you are enjoying yourself, and while this blogging stuff gets lost on me sometimes due to insane amounts of work, I love reading about the cool things you are doing. Have you run into any Carolina kids? I just ran into a girl from Princeton who is in Kazakhstan and I told her to keep her eyes out for a UNC kid with red hair and I figured that there wouldnt be a huge amount of those over in Central Asia. I havent gotten off work before 3AM for the last three weeks straight, but I am enjoying what I am doing, believe it or not. I am extremely curious how often you read your email, check the news, read about the terribleness that was Tennessee football this season, and the excitement that is the young Tar Heel basketball team, etc. Also, I am interested in knowing whether or not you have run into Ashley Snyder, a chi-o who graduated our year. I told her to keep her eyes out for you, she was in one of the "stans" over there. Anyways, I hope all is well, I will send this in an email also because I dont know which will get to you first, but, best wishes bro, I hope all is well, and Merry Christmas.
